Navigation that user the power of the smartphone based NaviMaps application to offer basic textual & icon driven voice guidance to vehicle IVI units capable of handling only simple text/icons and not a complete video stream; vis-à-vis a dot matrix LCD display which can be part of car or a bike cluster/IVI.
Smartphone outputs encoded navigation symbols and full voice guidance to IVI/cluster device. Due to the simple nature of textual & icon driven instructions, the data can be sent over comparatively bandwidth mechanisms like Bluetooth connections and puts little to negligible computational load on both the IVI/clusters or the phones.
